According to Greek Travel Pages, the “Delphi Golf Resort” will be launched in Fokitha, Central Greece. The overall value of the investment is estimated at € 300 mln. It is expected the project will create 1,500 jobs after its completion.

The Delphi Golf Resort will be implemented by Scorpios Construction SA and is foreseen to include the creation of:
A 36-hole golf course
A 5-star 300-room hotel
Conference and leisure venues
A wellness village
Artificial lakes and other landscaping.
The Delphi Golf Resort will be able to host international golf tournaments.
The Greek government has revised legislation for golf tourism investment procedures, offering incentives to attract more investments.
Greece has accelerated its efforts to attract golf tourism investments. Greek tourism stakeholders hope to extend the season through golf tourism as well as increase revenue.
