Attica Group is the owner of the Superfast Ferries, Blue Star Ferries, Hellenic Seaways and the Africa Morocco Link. It has just launched new high speed ferry services using 3 newly-built Aero Highspeed Catamarans.
The catamarans will operate on the routes from Pireaus to Aegina, Agistri, Poros, Hydra, Spetses, Ermioni and Porto Heli, operating 17 times per day.
The state-of-the-art catamarans are expected to serve over 3 million passengers per year. The total cost of the investment was € 21 million.
The ships have a maximum speed of 32.2 knots when fully loaded; have an overall length of 36 meters; a beam of 9.7 meters and a carrying capacity of 150 passengers.
The Greek tourist sector is rebounding in 2022 after 2 years of COVID, and is expected to reach or exceed arrivals and revenue in 2019.
